Lowcountry Junk Pros is a local hauling crew for Charleston and the Lowcountry: the peninsula, West Ashley, James Island and Johns Island, Daniel Island, Mount Pleasant, North Charleston, Hanahan, Goose Creek and Summerville, out to Isle of Palms and Folly Beach. Send a photo of what has to go, get a firm price, and it is gone, usually within a day or two, often the same day for a single item.
Furniture, appliances, a whole house, a vacation rental between guests, the pile from a remodel, the dock furniture and the shed, the limbs and fence panels after a storm: if it can be lifted or cut down, we haul it. For a project that runs longer than a visit, we set a roll-off in the driveway and pull it when you call.
A local crew with an 843 number, not a national call centre. The quote is the price, the driveway is swept, and the truck knows which bridge is backed up at five o'clock.

Hauling for how the Lowcountry lives
Charleston is old houses, new subdivisions and a rental economy. The peninsula, Wagener Terrace, Hampton Park and the older streets of West Ashley and Mount Pleasant hold houses lived in for generations and full to the attic; the subdivisions of Carnes Crossroads, Cane Bay, Nexton and Park West are where the moving boxes never got unpacked; and thousands of vacation rentals on the beaches and downtown turn over every week with furniture that needs replacing. Estate cleanouts, garage cleanouts and rental turnovers are the three jobs that define the area.
Charleston County runs convenience centres and the city collects garbage and some bulky items on a schedule; both are linked under Local resources, with what they will take. We handle the rest: appliances, mattresses, whole rooms, construction debris, anything heavy, anything that has to go today, and everything on the narrow downtown streets and the island roads where a big truck does not fit.
Hurricane season is June to November, and every few years the Lowcountry gets the real thing. Ian in 2022 flooded streets and dropped trees across the county, and the king tides do damage on their own. We haul limbs, fence panels, roofing, ruined furniture and flood-damaged flooring after every storm, and tell you what the county's debris pickups will take for free before you pay us for it.

Questions people in Charleston ask
How much is junk removal in Charleston?
By the share of the truck your load fills, with labour, hauling and landfill fees in one number. A single item is the smallest job, a full truck the largest. Send a photo for a firm quote or get it on the spot before we lift. Dumpsters are quoted by size and rental period with tonnage included.
Can you come today?
Often, for single items and small loads on the peninsula, West Ashley, James Island and Mount Pleasant. Full cleanouts and dumpster deliveries are usually scheduled within one to two days.
What can't you take?
Hazardous material: paint, chemicals, fuel, asbestos, medical waste. Charleston County's environmental management page lists the drop-off options for those (see Local resources). Nearly everything else, from furniture to concrete to a whole dock's worth of furniture, is fine.
Do I have to be there?
No. Leave the items in the garage, the carport or the driveway and pay by card after a photo of the cleared space. For rentals and estate cleanouts we meet a manager, a family member or an agent with the key or the lockbox code.
Do you donate or recycle?
Usable furniture and working appliances go to donation partners in the Lowcountry where they accept them; metal and cardboard are recycled; the rest goes to the licensed facility. Ask and we tell you where a load went.
Junk removal or a dumpster?
If it can be gone in one visit, junk removal is cheaper and you lift nothing. If the mess grows over a week, a remodel or a slow cleanout, a dumpster in the driveway costs less. We do both and say which one fits.
