The haul-away has to fit between a checkout and a check-in, so the crew works to a time rather than a day.

Beach houses add their own complication: everything leaves down an outside staircase, parking is tight in season, and a big truck does not always fit the street. The manager's list and a photo of the stairs are enough to price it, and the crew arrives with the number of people the stairs need.

Old furniture in good condition goes to donation partners in the area when they accept it, mattresses and worn pieces go to the county landfill or, for county residents driving their own, to a convenience center, and the unit is swept before the cleaning crew arrives. Photos of the emptied rooms go to the manager the same hour.

The window matters more than the volume. A unit that has to be empty by eleven for a four o'clock check-in is scheduled first and priced for the crew size that makes it, and stairs on the beach houses are quoted up front rather than added at the door.
